The translation into Brazilian Portuguese is by Mamede Jarouche.<\/p>\n<p>According to the publishing house, <em>The Tumour <\/em>is a profound and symbolic philosophical exploration. It dissects the concept of authority \u2013 the ruler and the ruled and the balance of power between the two. The author explores the relationship between man and existence, exposing the vulnerability of man in the wilderness of the world.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Ibrahim Al-Koni<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Born in 1948, in the <strong>desert<\/strong> of the Tuareg people in <strong>Libya<\/strong>, <a href=\"https:\/\/editoratabla.com.br\/autores\/ibrahim-al-koni\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Ibrahim Al-Koni<\/a> spent his entire childhood there. The author learned to read and write Arabic when he was 12, and he studied comparative literature at the Maxim Gorky Literature Institute in Moscow and then worked as a journalist in Moscow and Warsaw. He has published more than 80 books, including novels, short stories, poems and aphorism inspired by the desert.
