They participated in an <strong>Iftar<\/strong>, the evening meal that breaks the daily Ramadan fast.<\/p>\n<p>The students selected in the contest received scholarships and joined Portuguese classes in the <strong>Brazilian Institute of Cairo<\/strong>. The institute is a private entity that focuses on <strong>teaching Brazilian Portuguese<\/strong> by offering language courses in different levels.<\/p>\n<p>During the Iftar, the contest-winning students shared their experiences learning the Portuguese language.
