The Arab companies will be scattered across the two stands of the <strong>Arab Brazilian Chamber of Commerce<\/strong> (ABCC) that together span for 150 square meters of space hired for the exhibition. <em>Pictured, the ABCC at APAS 2019.<\/em><\/p>\n<p>\u201cFor the first time we\u2019ll have two stands at APAS due to a higher demand for space. This creates pretty good expectations, so I believe the number of visitors and the amount of business will be large considering that the last edition was back in 2019,\u201d said Daniella Leite, New Business director of the ABCC.<\/p>\n<p>One company from Tunisia, 13 from Egypt, seven from Jordan and two from the UAE will show products like spices, teas, <strong>dates<\/strong>, Arab pastries, dried fruits, raw fruits, peppers, dried tomatoes, <strong>olive oil<\/strong>, olives, <strong>coffee<\/strong>, frozen fruits and vegetables, canned food, and even <strong>cosmetics<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>The ABCC has participated in APAS Show since 2016, and every year it has brought more and more Arab companies and expanded its stands. \u201cThis is a very important show to do this connection, to bring Arabs to Brazil to exhibit their manufactured products, thus raising awareness and trying to generate business \u2013 that\u2019s our goal,\u201d said Leite.<\/p>\n<p>The director pointed out the relevance of in-person events for doing business with the Arabs. \u201cWe noticed how willing the businesspeople are to join in-person appointments, both the Brazilians during the Expo 2020 Dubai and the Arabs now coming to APAS,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n<p>Besides the program at the APAS Show, two Arab delegations, one from Egypt and another one from Jordan, will have business appointments organized by the ABCC during the period. The activities will include workshops, seminars, B2B meetings, and technical visits.<\/p>\n<p>On the 17th at 8:30 am, the event \u201cDiscovering the Opportunities in Egypt\u2019s Food Industry\u201d will take place featuring the Egyptian delegation followed by B2B meetings at the ABCC. On May 18 at 8:30 am, the seminar \u201cJordan and Brazil \u2013 Challenges and Opportunities\u201d will take place with the Jordan\u2019s delegation at the ABCC. Brazilian companies interested in importing products from both countries can register for the events and B2B meetings by email at <a href=\"mailto:ci@ccab.org.br\">ci@ccab.org.br<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><strong>APAS Show 2022<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The largest food and beverage trade show in Latin America and the world&#8217;s largest supermarket event, APAS Show is coming back after two years of pandemic.<\/p>\n<p>In addition to foods and beverages, the show features sectors such as groceries, fruits, vegetables, and hygiene and grooming. This year\u2019s theme is \u201cBeyond Food,\u2019 as the show encompasses sectors across the supply chain such as technology, innovation, logistics, finance, infrastructure, equipment, startup, and others.<\/p>\n<p>From May 16 to 19, over 800 national and international exhibitors will be brought together across a 75,000 square meter area. In addition to the exhibition, the event will feature over 70 lectures with experts in innovation, technology, intelligence, productivity, industry trends, and political and economic outlook.<\/p>\n<p>This year\u2019s edition is estimated to get over 100,000 visits.
