The company&#8217;s factory, in the city of S\u00e3o Jos\u00e9 dos Pinhais, state of Paran\u00e1, started operating in December 1998.<\/p>\n<p> The number 700,000 vehicle to leave the assembly line was a red Sandero Stepway model, the sports version of the compact Sandero hatchback. The company also announced that it has produced more than 100,000 units of the Logan model, a compact sedan launched in mid-2007.<\/p>\n<p> According to a press release issued by the company, the president of Renault Brazil, Jean-Michel Jalinier, stated that the figures attained are an \u201cimportant indicator, showing that the brand is winning the trust of Brazilian consumers.\u201d<\/p>\n<p> Renault&#8217;s factory in Paran\u00e1, according to the release, has a production capacity for 200,000 vehicles per year.
