The volume is 1.5% higher than recorded in the previous six months. In the same comparison, the number of storehouses grew by 1.2%.<\/p>\n<p>Data is part of the July to December 2021 Inventory Survey, released this Wednesday (8) by the Brazilian Institute of Geography and Statistics (IBGE).<\/p>\n<p><strong>Silos<\/strong> make up the major part of useful storage capacity in Brazil. Among the five main agricultural products in the storage units, the most significant volume (16.9 million tonnes) is <strong>maize<\/strong>.
