S\u00e3o Paulo \u2013 The Lotas <\/strong>Group, a traditional company in Brazil-Egypt<\/strong> trade, has turned its Egyptian branch into a trading company to expand operations and tap into a new range of products and business possibilities. The Egypt-based company, that was only a trade representation office until last year, now focuses on catering to the customer needs like trading by seeking and distributing products from various sectors between Brazil and Africa.<\/p>\n

\u201cSince 2021, the Lotas Foreign Trade Group in Brazil and Egypt, in its new phase, seeks to bring Egypt, Brazil and African countries closer together for a trade integration of convenient products between them via its branch Lotas Egypt for Foreign Trade based in Giza, Egypt,\u201d CEO Abdel Wahab Mansour told ANBA.<\/p>\n

Lotas\u2019 business includes the firm in Egypt, which is now a trading company, and Lotas Brazil, which will keep operating as a trade representative. While a representative mediates business between companies in a commissioned manner, a trading firm can import and export on its own and can explore markets directly with its own brands. The company\u2019s website<\/a> presents the new features of its new business format.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe new philosophy of Lotas Trading aims at supplying not only specific products to one market but catering to the needs of importers of products and services of the other two markets as well to handle integration in a practical approach,\u201d Mansour said. The Lotas companies always focuses on the complementariness of the economies of Brazil and Egypt, and business will follow this philosophy in a new format but exploring the demands more extensively, ranging from fertilizers to foodstuff.<\/p>\n
