Six hundred twenty-eight tonnes were exported in the period, including <strong>fresh and processed<\/strong> products. In revenue, there was a 138.6% increase in sales, reaching USD 1.9 million.<\/p>\n<p>In the first five months of 2022, export volume grew 21.1%, with 6,180 tonnes. In terms of revenue, there was a 59.3% expansion in foreign sales, attaining USD 11.1 million. According to the ABPA, in 2022, the sector had the best performance for the period since 2016.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIn addition to generating foreign exchange revenue for Brazil, the increase in exports acts as a countermeasure to the challenging scenario imposed by <strong>production costs<\/strong>,\u201d said ABPA President Ricardo Santin in a press release.
