The session came following an invitation by a number of deputies who support the Palestinian cause, such as Camilo Capiberibe, Alexandre Padilha and M\u00e1rcio Jerry, in partnership with the Brazil-Palestine Institution (IBRASPAL).<\/p>\n<p>According to information made public by the Arab-Palestinian Federation of Brazil (FEPAL), the session was attended by a number of diplomats from Arab, Islamic and Latin American countries, as well as representatives of social organizations and over 100 congresspeople both in person and online.<\/p>\n<p>The session opened with the Palestinian national anthem, followed by a speech by Congress president Arthur Lira.
