S\u00e3o Paulo \u2013 Muslim populations recently celebrated Eid Al-Adha, a religious holiday in Islam known as the feast of the sacrifice. Eid Al-Adha marks the end of Hajj, the pilgrimage to Mecca, and is a period of festivities between families and friends and collective prayers in mosques. Many countries declare public holidays during this period. See below images of moments from this year’s Eid Al-Adha in some Arab countries.
