Those selected will take up positions in Colombia, <strong>Egypt<\/strong>, <strong>Morocco<\/strong>, the European Union, and Angola. Professionals will replace attaches whose terms are ending in the first four countries and regions mentioned. The training is carried out by <strong>the Rio Branco Institute<\/strong>, the diplomatic training academy of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, in a collaboration between the ministries of Agriculture and Foreign Affairs. The training takes place until Friday (12).<\/p>\n<p>According to the release, agricultural attach\u00e9s work to open, maintain and expand markets for Brazilian agribusiness. In coordination with the ambassador and other diplomats from the embassy or diplomatic mission, the attach\u00e9s identify opportunities, challenges, and possibilities for trade, investment, and cooperation in the sector. The term of office of an embassy attach\u00e9 is up to four consecutive years, non-extendable.<\/p>\n<p>In the preparatory course, attach\u00e9 candidates receive training on subjects such as the organizational structure of Brazilian diplomatic representations abroad, international cooperation and investment attraction, Brazilian <strong>agribusiness image<\/strong>, diplomatic language, technical, <strong>sanitary, and phytosanitary<\/strong> topics, negotiation tactics, and press, among others.<\/p>\n<p>Currently, the Ministry of Agriculture has 28 Brazilian agricultural attach\u00e9s assigned to Brazilian diplomatic representations worldwide. According to the release, there is a forecast of expansion, still in 2022, to 29 attach\u00e9s in 27 posts.
