He will discuss 25 de Mar\u00e7o, a street shopping hub in the central area of S\u00e3o Paulo city, where the first Arab immigrants from Brazil established stores upon arrival. Maluhy has been working in the region for almost 70 years.<\/p>\n<p>Due to the historical connection with <strong>Arab immigration to Brazil<\/strong>, the date which gives the name to the street, March 25, was established as the National Day of the Arab Community in Brazil. 25 de Mar\u00e7o is still home to shops owned by families of Arab origin, many of which are focused on the textile sector.
