S\u00e3o Paulo \u2013 The board chair of the Brazilian retail chain Magazine Luiza and Women of Brazil group, Luiza Trajano (pictured above<\/em>), will participate in the roundtable \u2018Female entrepreneurship experiences in the Arab world<\/strong>\u2019 next Wednesday, August 31, at 9:30 am. The meeting is an initiative of the WAHI \u2013 Women who Inspire Committee \u2013 of the Arab Brazilian Chamber of Commerce (ABCC) and the Women of Brazil Group [Grupo Mulheres do Brasil].<\/p>\n

The event in Portuguese will take place in a hybrid format, with in-person participation at the ABCC headquarters in S\u00e3o Paulo for organizing partners, and registration is open for participating online.<\/p>\n

In addition to Trajano, the roundtable will include the participation of Helena Ara\u00fajo, executive manager of Governmental and Institutional Relations of BRF; Maria Prado, export manager of the electric appliances manufacturer FAME; and Alessandra Stefani, CEO of Mac Jee, a defense products company.<\/p>\n

ABCC director and WAHI committee member Claudia Yazigi Haddad will moderate the panel. \u201cWAHI is bringing four strong and inspiring enterprising women into a conversation. This event further strengthens the ties between WAHI and the Women of Brazil Group,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n

ABCC director and WAHI committee chair Alessandra Frisso said the event is a space for discussing the opportunities to learn about what women leading businesses and developing new projects have gone through and can now share with other women.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt will be an exchange of experiences and information, a space for debate. Through this exchange of experiences, debates on female leadership, and the encouragement of female entrepreneurship, we at WAHI believe this will support new generations and encourage more women to enter entrepreneurship and export to the Arab countries. We know there is a growth potential for women in foreign trade, which can be significantly boosted by female entrepreneurship,\u201d said Frisso.<\/p>\n

WAHI \u2013 Women Who Inspire<\/strong><\/p>\n

The mission of the WAHI committee is to make Arab and Brazilian women get to know each other, exchange experiences in their fields of expertise, and eventually do business with each other, so this exchange can serve as an inspiration for them to undertake, accomplish, and innovate even more in their lives. WAHI in Arabic means \u201cinspiration,\u201d and its letters form Women\u2019s Achievements High Inspiration.<\/p>\n
