S\u00e3o Paulo \u2013 The Women of Brazil<\/strong> Group [Grupo Mulheres do Brasil], chaired by businesswoman Luiza Helena Trajano<\/strong>, created a hub in Dubai<\/strong>, in the United Arab Emirates. This Wednesday (31), the entrepreneur participated in a roundtable at the Arab Brazilian Chamber of Commerce (ABCC) headquarters in the city of S\u00e3o Paulo and met with the institution\u2019s heads to discuss the rapprochement of the group with the Arab world. Women of Brazil is a women\u2019s network with over 100,000 participants, which defends women\u2019s leadership in building a better country. In addition to more than 113 centers in Brazil, the initiative has 43 branches in 25 other countries. At the ABCC meeting, Trajano said the presence in Dubai resulted from the group\u2019s trip to the emirate in March this year, during the Expo 2020 Dubai world exhibition.<\/p>\n

Trajano already had a relationship with the Arab world. Still, at Expo 2020, where over 190 countries exhibited in booths and stands, she had more significant contact with nations such as Syria<\/strong> and Saudi Arabia<\/strong>, in addition to the UAE<\/strong>. For the ANBA report, the businesswoman commented on the receptivity she perceives in the Arabs towards Brazil. \u201cThey are open to bringing women from Brazil; what they are doing meeting our people is impressive,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n

At the meeting, possibilities for rapprochement between the ABCC and Women of Brazil Group were discussed, such as an interaction between the new Dubai hub and the ABCC office in the emirate. The suggestion was made by Chohfi. The aim to strengthen cooperation between Women of Brazil and the women\u2019s committee of the ABCC was also expressed.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe want to strengthen these partnerships,\u201d said civil engineer Claudia Yazigi Haddad, one of the ABCC<\/strong> and WAHI women\u2019s committee directors, at the meeting. \u201cThere\u2019s a lot we can do together,\u201d Trajano said. Research exchange with Arab women and bringing Arab culture to the Women of Brazil Group events were among the possibilities pointed out by the meeting participants.<\/p>\n
