The project to create the group had already been approved by the Senate in July. The initiative aims to foster international cooperation between parliamentarians from both countries.<\/p>\n<p>In the Chamber, the proposal&#8217;s rapporteur was deputy Marcel van Hattem (Novo, Rio Grande do Sul). According to information released by the Chamber of Deputies&#8217; official news agency, Hattem stated the creation of the group would allow the strengthening of diplomatic and commercial ties between the two countries.<\/p>\n<p>The group could work within the scope of <strong>cultural relations, exchange<\/strong>, and technical cooperation between local and foreign entities. According to the Brazilian Congress, <strong>interparliamentary cooperation<\/strong> could be carried out through missions, events, studies, and the exchange of legislative and parliamentary experiences, among other activities.<\/p>\n<p>Late last year, Brazil opened its <a href=\"https:\/\/anba.com.br\/en\/bolsonaro-travels-to-bahrain-for-first-time-opens-embassy\/\">embassy in Manama<\/a>, the capital of the Arab country.<\/p>\n<p>In terms of trade, Brazil exports products such as iron ore and agricultural products to the <strong>Gulf<\/strong> insular nation.
