He was received by the entity\u2019s president, Osmar Chohfi, secretary-general and CEO, Tamer Mansour, and director of Institutional Relations, Fernanda Baltazar. They also spoke on the importance of diversifying the trade basket and expanding reciprocal investments. \u201cEgypt is an essential political and economic partner for Brazil and one of our foremost trade partners among the Arab countries. We have a clear vision the potentialities between countries are many and diversified,\u201d said Chohfi.<\/p>\n<p>Omran is a member of the Egyptian Parliamentary Industry Commission and is in the country to amplify relations with Brazil. He thanked the reception and invited Chohfi to attend a meeting in Egypt during the 2022 United Nations Climate Change Conference (UNFCCC COP 27), to be held from November 6 to 18 in Sharm El Sheikh.
