S\u00e3o Paulo \u2013 The organisers of Nova Equipotel, a trade fair for the hotel industry held in September in the city of S\u00e3o Paulo, announced yesterday (17th) that the fair is going to feature more than 1,100 exhibitors, growth of 1.3% in comparison with the last edition. The exhibition is considered to be Latin America’s largest for the hotel and cuisine sectors and is also among the world’s five most important.<\/p>\n
One of the exhibitors will be the Arab Brazilian Chamber of Commerce<\/b>, which will have a 70 square-metre stand where it will promote business roundtables among Arab importers and Brazilian suppliers. Interested companies from Brazil may already enrol free of charge (further information below).<\/p>\n
The Arab Brazilian Chamber is bringing eight companies from the United Arab Emirates, Lebanon, Saudi Arabia, Egypt and Jordan to the event. They all operate as suppliers of a broad range of products for hotels. Some also work as distributors to restaurants, hospitals and retail.<\/p>\n
The products that these companies are interested in include bed, bath and linen, dishes, silverware, glasses, lighting material, decoration items, general utensils, stationery products, food, beverages, equipment, cleaning items, uniforms, cooling and heating systems, beauty and personal hygiene products, furniture and textiles.<\/p>\n
The fair will run from September 14 to 17 at the Anhembi Exhibition Centre. The organisers are expecting approximately 50,000 visitors to attend the event, which will occupy an area of 55,000 square metres, 2.8% more than in the previous edition.<\/p>\n
On the sidelines of Equipotel, there will be events such as Equip Food&Drinks, for the food service industry, Equip Design, for architecture and hotel decoration, Equip Spa&Wellness, turned to spas, aesthetics clinics and other similar companies and Equip Conference, a seminar whose main theme will be \u201cDebates Over Franchises.\u201d<\/p>\n
