The monthly average was USD 10.04 billion.<\/p>\n<p>According to news released by the local agency National Iraqi News Agency (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.ninanews.com\/Website\/News\/Details?key=1011043\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">NINA<\/a>) this Monday (31), based on data disclosed by the State Organization for Marketing of Oil (SOMO), in 2021, revenue generated from Iraqi <strong>oil exports<\/strong> totaled USD 5.8 billion a month and USD 52.9 billion from January to September.<\/p>\n<p>According to statistics issued by SOMO, May saw the highest revenue from oil exports from the Arab country this year, with USD 11.4 billion. In the first month of the year, January, international oil sales were at the lowest point, USD 8.3 billion.<\/p>\n<p>Brazil is an <strong>oil importer<\/strong> from Iraq, but it did not have significant participation as a destination for this product from the Arab country this year. Last year, the Brazilian market bought over USD 300 million worth of Iraqi oil.
