In terms of consumption, Syrians account for 2.8% of the total. The European Union, the United States, and Australia are the main markets purchasing olive oil from Syria.<\/p>\n<p>SANA pointed to the Syrian farmers as a symbol of resilience and recalled <strong>olive trees<\/strong> are spread across Syria and adorn the mountains, valleys, and plains, heralding a bountiful olive <strong>harvest<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>With some of the best olive oils in the world, Syria has unique quality standards. \u00a0According to SANA, one of the strategies used by Syrian farmers to comply with these regulations is to wait for the ripe time to harvest.
