One of the actions scheduled is exhibition \u201cCumprimento para Palestina\u201d (Greetings to Palestine), which will feature paintings by Arab descendent Salma Mugames. A lecture named \u201cThe reciprocal influence of two languages: Arabic and Portuguese,\u201d with Antonio Carlos de Moraes Sartini, director of the Museum of Portuguese Language, in S\u00e3o Paulo. <\/p>\n
Another event in the schedule is the screening of a film, \u201cAs liga\u00e7\u00f5es hist\u00f3ricas entre as l\u00ednguas portuguesa e \u00e1rabe\u201d (The historical ties between the Portuguese and Arabic languages).
