So far this month, the country is running a surplus of US$ 1.363 billion, as a result of US$ 8.752 billion in exports and US$ 7.389 billion in imports.<\/p>\n<p> In the third week of September, exports totalled US$ 3.496 billion and imports, US$ 2.940 billion.<\/p>\n<p> From January until the third week of September, the trade surplus was US$ 21.331 billion, a figure 10.4% higher than the one recorded in the same period of 2008 (US$ 19.319 billion).
