{"id":322422,"date":"2022-12-14T15:39:17","date_gmt":"2022-12-14T18:39:17","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/anba.com.br\/?p=322422"},"modified":"2022-12-16T14:13:20","modified_gmt":"2022-12-16T17:13:20","slug":"tunisias-imports-up-33","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/anba.com.br\/en\/tunisias-imports-up-33\/","title":{"rendered":"Tunisia\u2019s imports up 33%"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>S\u00e3o Paulo \u2013 <strong>Tunisian imports<\/strong> jumped by 33% to TND 75.4 million (USD 23.5 million) over the past eleven months of the year from the same period in 2021, state news agency TAP said based on a report by the National Institute of Statistics (NIS).<\/p>\n<p>The rise stems primarily from the increase by 87% in imports of energy products, 35.8% in raw materials and semi-finished products, 12.5% in capital goods, and 14% in consumer goods.<\/p>\n<p>Imports from the European Union, which accounts for 44.2% of the Arab country\u2019s total imports, went up by 22.3% to TND 33,332 million (USD 10.3 million) year to date through November.<\/p>\n<p>Exports from Tunisia increased, but its trade balance deficit widened to TND 23.3 million (USD 7.1 million), up 58.8% from the same period in 2021.
