The Federation has also announced the tournament will take place from <strong>February 1 to 11<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Brazilian club Flamengo will compete in the World Cup. The club secured a spot by winning the Copa Libertadores. The Cup will also feature Spain\u2019s <strong>Real Madrid<\/strong>, United States\u2019 <strong>Seattle Sounders<\/strong> and New Zealand\u2019s <strong>Auckland City<\/strong>. Asia\u2019s representative has not been confirmed yet.<\/p>\n<p>Africa is represented by both Egypt\u2019s <strong>Al-Ahly <\/strong>and Morocco\u2019s <strong>Wydad Casablanca <\/strong>(<em>pictured<\/em>). Wydad is the defending champion, but since it has a place secured for being from the host country, Africa\u2019s runner up <strong>Al-Ahly<\/strong> is participating, too.<\/p>\n<p>Morocco was one of the major highlights of the World Cup Qatar as it was the first <strong>Arab and African <\/strong>national team to reach the tournament\u2019s semifinals. The country lost the chance to compete in the finals when it was defeated by the French national team.
