In total, the <strong>ANP<\/strong> reported 87.2 million tonnes were handled. Data were released by the official news agency of the Arab country, Maghreb Arabe Press (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.mapnews.ma\/en\/actualites\/economy\/moroccos-port-traffic-falls-42-2022-agency\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">MAP<\/a>), this Wednesday (18). <em>Pictured above, the Port of Casablanca, by ANP.<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Port traffic includes <strong>imports<\/strong> and <strong>exports<\/strong> of goods and cabotage. Imports totaled 56.17 million tonnes, representing a 2.4% increase compared to the previous period. Exports reached 26.98 tonnes, down 18.5% compared to 2021.<\/p>\n<p>Import cabotage was 2.7 tonnes, up 27.2%, and export cabotage was 1.36 tonnes, with a 37.2% growth.<\/p>\n<p>By port, the distribution showed the prominence of Jorf Lasfar and Casablanca, which respectively had 39% and 29.6% shares of the total traffic reported to the ANP.
