They used the skeleton of the woman, dubbed \u201cHinat,\u201d who authorities believed died in the first century B.C.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_324529\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-324529\" style=\"width: 300px\" class=\"wp-caption alignright\"><a href=\"https:\/\/anba.com.br\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/02\/hinat1.jpg\"><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-medium wp-image-324529\" src=\"https:\/\/anba.com.br\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/02\/hinat1-300x296.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"296\" srcset=\"https:\/\/anba.com.br\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/02\/hinat1-300x296.jpg 300w, https:\/\/anba.com.br\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/02\/hinat1-768x759.jpg 768w, https:\/\/anba.com.br\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/02\/hinat1.jpg 1000w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/a><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-324529\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Hinat: Reconstruction of 2,000-year-old Nabataean woman<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>The reconstruction has been displayed for the public in the visitor\u2019s center at the <strong>Hegra<\/strong> historical site in AlUla since February 6 and aims to give visitors the opportunity to learn about the ancient history of the region, the Nabateans and their civilization.<\/p>\n<p>The skeleton was discovered inside a tomb in the <strong>UNESCO World Heritage<\/strong> site in 2008. Human remains, skin and hair, along with textiles, leather and other substances were also discovered, as was an inscription that said that the tomb belonged to \u201cHinat, the daughter of Wahbu.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Studies confirmed the importance of Hinat\u2019s position in the <strong>Nabataean<\/strong> community, as she had possessed sufficient wealth to obtain her own tomb in Hegra.<\/p>\n<p>A number of experts on Nabataean civilization issued a biography of Hinat, equipped with pictures of her clothes and jewelry as a background to her facial reconstruction.
