S\u00e3o Paulo \u2013 Brazilian foods such as candies, chocolates, peanuts, sugar, animal protein, and coffee<\/strong> will be in the spotlight at the Gulfood food and beverage show in Dubai, in the United Arab Emirates, from February 20 to 24. Eleven companies are exhibiting at the event in a space organized by the Arab Brazilian Chamber of Commerce (ABCC). Products also include poultry and beef byproducts, confectionery, fruits, grains, sugar, and spices. The ABCC will have two spaces, one in Hall 2 for foodstuffs in general and one in the Protein Pavilion.<\/p>\n

Grain trader NP Zanchetta is headquartered in Borborema, S\u00e3o Paulo<\/em><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

One of the companies at the ABCC stand will be grain wholesaler NP Zanchetta<\/strong> from the city of Borborema, S\u00e3o Paulo. The brand produces processed runner peanuts blanched (split and whole grains), coated, roasted, and raw peanut oil. The products are already sold to destinations such as Algeria, Lebanon, Syria, Libya, Jordan, Tunisia, and Egypt. At the show, the company intends to further strengthen customer relationships, foster business opportunities, and show its legacy and portfolio to visitors.<\/p>\n

Camap is a peanut-focused cooperative<\/em><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

Another space will have the Alta Paulista Mixed Agricultural Cooperative (Camap<\/strong>), from the city of Tup\u00e3, in the countryside of the state of S\u00e3o Paulo. The cooperative will showcase its peanuts in whole grains already exported to the UAE. With the show in Dubai, Campa seeks to use the event’s reach to expand sales globally.<\/p>\n

Golden Agri Resources,<\/strong> a global leader in palm oil and derivatives production, is also exhibiting at the ABCC’s space at Gulfood. At the show, the company will focus on another product; sugar. Golden Agri Resources already exports to several Arab countries and is heading to the biggest food show in the Middle East to get in touch with customers and open up possibilities for new contacts. The Singapore-based company operates in Brazil.<\/p>\n

Also at the Brazilian stand, Dubai-based Pantanal General Trading<\/strong>, in addition to working as a trading firm for foodstuffs such as chocolate (opening picture<\/em>), is bringing its Pantanal Coffee brand. The company produces drip coffee, an innovative solution for single-serving coffee. Pantanal already exports to Oman, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, and the UAE and intends to take advantage of Gulfood<\/strong> to prospect customers and expand its active marketing. The trading company brings Brazilian products to Arab markets.<\/p>\n

Another trading company will be Dubai-based Nad Al Shiba International General Trading<\/strong>. The company focuses on the trade of Brazilian commodities, such as sugar, maize, soybean, soy bran, Dried distillers grains with solubles (DDGS), green coffee, vegetable oils, and animal feed, such as alfalfa. The brand operates in the Gulf, Africa, and parts of Asia, and among the Arabs nations, it already sells to Yemen, Sudan, Djibouti, and Saudi Arabia. The show will be an opportunity for them to reach the market on a larger scale, prospect new customers, and partner with new suppliers.<\/p>\n

Florestal Alimentos<\/strong>, from Lajeado, in the state of Rio Grande do Sul, manufactures confectionery goods such as hard candies, chewable bonbons, ball lollipops, flat lollipops, chewing gum, in addition to a sugar-free line of sweets and chewing gum, chocolates, marshmallow, and gelatin and gum supplements. The brand already exports to Yemen, Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, Jordan, Palestine, and the UAE. At Gulfood, the company envisions an opportunity to meet again with customers and prospect new markets.<\/p>\n

Executive Rada Saleh will be at the Ramax stand at Gulfood<\/em><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

Another company will be the Ramax Group<\/strong> from S\u00e3o Paulo, which exports halal animal proteins, including poultry, beef, sheep, and goat. Among the markets to which the products are already shipped are Egypt, Jordan, Libya, Lebanon, and Palestine. Ramax’s participation in Gulfood will aim at strengthening relationships with its main commercial partners, prospecting new customers, and checking out recent market trends.<\/p>\n

Domi International exports beef<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

Also in the animal protein sector, S\u00e3o Paulo-based Domi International<\/strong> is a trading company specializing in beef exports and already ships to countries like Saudi Arabia, the UAE, and Qatar. The brand will be at the exhibition in Dubai to promote and develop its trade department and institutional image.<\/p>\n

Also at the spaces will be the companies Agromass<\/strong>,\u00a0Stefenoni<\/strong>, and\u00a0Afrinvest<\/strong>. In addition to the companies exhibiting at Gulfood with the ABCC, a large number of Brazilian brands will be at the show in independent booths or spaces organized by institutions such as the Brazilian Animal Protein Association (ABPA), the Brazilian Trade and Investment Promotion Agency (ApexBrasil) and the Brazilian Beef Exporters Association (ABIEC).<\/p>\n
