Son of a Moroccan father and a Peruvian seamstress, he, his mother, and brother moved from the Brazilian Northern State of Par\u00e1 to Rio de Janeiro in the late 1960s. In 1972, Azulay founded Blue Man. The bow bikini, which allowed women to adjust the garment to the body better, is an Azulay creation. Regarding men\u2019s clothing, the boxer swim briefs returned to the beach based on the company\u2019s designs.<\/p>\n<p>In the 1980s, <strong>Blue Man<\/strong> ventured outside Brazil for the first time, selling its pieces in Miami, in the United States. It had 20 points of sale in the Brazilian territory, which were reduced to 10 units in Rio de Janeiro, B\u00fazios, and Niter\u00f3i, cities in the state of Rio de Janeiro, and one in Vit\u00f3ria, in Esp\u00edrito Santo. In addition to the planned expansion within Brazil, Blue Man has other goals abroad. When the agreement is renewed every two years, new companies can join Texbrasil to promote their products abroad. But the company\u2019s focus on North Africa and the Middle East does not stop there.
