The <strong>Arte Expo Project<\/strong> will take place on Thursday (4) in Barueri, S\u00e3o Paulo, and is organized by artist Eliane Nunes and the Projeto Arte Alpha studio.<\/p>\n<p>The occasion will feature postcards (<em>pictured<\/em>) inspired on Tela Caminhos by Eliane Nunes. The image is the same that illustrates the cover of the e-book <em>Religi\u00e3o e conflitos no Sud\u00e3o Contempor\u00e2neo: a experi\u00eancia de Comboni na \u00c1frica e dos Combonianos no Brasil<\/em> [Religion and Colonial Tensions in Sudan: The Experience of Don Comboni in Africa and the Comboni in Brazil] by professor <a href=\"https:\/\/anba.com.br\/en\/rio-born-scholar-devotes-career-to-tell-history-of-sudan\/\">Patr\u00edcia Teixeira Santos<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>The scholar specializes in the study of the Sudanese history and will be at the event, where she\u2019ll be present her e-book, launched earlier this year, and participate in a roundtable with Eliane Nunes.<\/p>\n<p>Santos said the proceeds from the art sales will be donated to social actions by the Comboni Missionaries in Khartoum, the Sudanese capital, due to the political and humanitarian crisis the country has gone through. The Comboni, who\u2019re part of the Catholic Church, are followers of Don Comboni, who lived and wrote letters about Sudan in the early nineteenth century.
