Performances started on May 11 and run until June 11, from Wednesdays to Sundays, in Teatro B32, in the district of Itaim Bibi, at 8 pm, except on Sundays, when they start at 5 pm.<\/p>\n<p>The prophet Al Mustafa has lived in the city of Orphalese for 12 years and is about to board a ship which will carry him home. He is deterred by a group of people, with whom he discusses topics such as life and the human condition.<\/p>\n<p>Gibran\u2019s tale of the turbulent, uncertain journey of the man through life is adapted by L\u00facia Helena Galv\u00e3o, starred by Sami Bordokan. The play features direction by Luiz Ant\u00f4nio Rocha, light design by Ricardo Fujii, and set and costumes by Uruguayan visual artist Eduardo Albini. This year it celebrates its 100<sup>th<\/sup> anniversary. Its author, Gibran, lived from 1883 to 1931. He was a philosopher, writer, poet, essayist and painter.
