S\u00e3o Paulo \u2013 Egyptian company Sky Light,<\/strong> specializing in foodstuffs and agriculture products, plans to enter Latin American markets, notably Brazil, with its products. The company is participating in the APAS Show 2023<\/strong>, in the city of S\u00e3o Paulo, in a space organized by the Arab Brazilian Chamber of Commerce (ABCC).<\/p>\n

The company\u2019s board vice-chair, Manal Swailem<\/strong> (pictured above)<\/em>, said it wants to ship to Brazil soon. It quickly confirmed its presence as an exhibitor at APAS, Latin America\u2019s biggest supermarket and food show to fulfill its goal.<\/p>\n

Sky Light has branches on most continents, in countries such as the United States, the United Arab Emirates, Norway, the Netherlands, and Germany, in addition to two branches in Egypt. It is one of the Swailem Group companies.<\/p>\n

Commenting on the repercussions and global and regional economic shifts imposed by the coronavirus pandemic and the Russia-Ukraine war, the businesswoman informed the company introduced a series of productive activities in addition to the main one, which consisted of beef, liver, and fish imports.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe recently started to export some products, mainly fresh and frozen vegetables<\/strong>, as well as fresh and dried fruits<\/strong>, in addition to high-quality olive oil<\/strong> at competitive prices,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n

According to Manal, this is the company\u2019s first participation in the APAS Show, and the event\u2019s first day already motivated the company to increase the exhibition space for next year. She said the company participates in many specialized international exhibitions, such as Gulfood, Anuga, and SIAL, with large spaces highlighting its products.<\/p>\n

Skylight intends to export fresh oranges, strawberries, grapes<\/strong>, and frozen vegetables such as broccoli, beans, and peas<\/strong> to the Brazilian market. According to the businesswoman, they are high-quality products with competitive prices compared to those from other countries.<\/p>\n

She added the company\u2019s products have several quality certificates, the main ones being ISO 9001 and Global GAP, in addition to Sky Light being registered with the Egyptian Food Safety Authority, which gives the products the possibility of entering global markets.<\/p>\n

According to Manal, Sky Light products can be found in all Arab and Gulf countries and most European nations. In addition to Brazil, the company wants to enter other markets in Latin America soon.<\/p>\n
