This is the highest monthly figure ever recorded since the BC started keeping track, in 1947.<\/p>\n<p> The strong inflow of funds last month was influenced by the issuing of shares of the Santander Bank, and the bulk of it took place before the 2% Tax on Financial Operations involving foreign investment in the country\u2019s financial market went into effect. The measure became effective as of October 20th.<\/p>\n<p> Another record-high was attained in foreign investment in total share trading, i.e., shares traded domestically and abroad.
