A Brazilian Association of Animal Protein (ABPA) survey pointed out that the Saudis bought 148,100 tonnes of the product, up 19.4% over the same period in 2022.<\/p>\n<p>In the first five months of this year, Brazil exported 2.18 million tonnes of poultry, a volume 9.7% higher than from January to May last year. In terms of revenue, shipments tallied USD 4.28 billion, a 13.4% increase in the same comparison.<\/p>\n<p>China was the leading destination, with 328,000 tonnes and a 32.6% purchase expansion. Japan, South Africa, the European Union, and Saudi Arabia also stood out.<\/p>\n<p>In May, exports totaled 433,300 tonnes, 0.9% more than the volume exported in the same period of 2022.
