S\u00e3o Paulo \u2013 The capital of the northern Brazilian state of Par\u00e1, Bel\u00e9m<\/strong>, will host the workshop<\/strong> \u201cHow halal can boost your brand\u2019s internationalization\u201d [\u201cComo o halal impulsionar\u00e1 a internacionaliza\u00e7\u00e3o de sua marca\u201d] next Tuesday (27) from 8:00 am to 12:00 pm BRT. The event is aimed at companies and state players interested in the halal market<\/strong>, for which products are produced and processed according to the guidelines of the Islamic religion and suitable for consumption by Muslims. Participation is free, and registration<\/a> is open.<\/p>\n

The workshop will be held by the Halal Brazil Project, carried out between the Arab Brazilian Chamber of Commerce (ABCC) and the Brazilian Trade and Investment Promotion Agency (ApexBrasil), intending to increase Brazilian participation as a global supplier of the segment, especially with value-added foodstuffs. BRL 15.4 million (about USD 3.22 at the current rate) will be invested to insert 500 Brazilian companies in this market within the next 30 months.<\/p>\n

The event schedule will include lectures with detailed explanations about what halal is<\/strong>, the characteristics of the halal market worldwide<\/strong>, and how the Halal Brazil Project<\/strong> works. \u00a0A case of a Brazilian company with experience in halal products, Goola A\u00e7a\u00ed<\/strong>, will also be presented. The event will also include a presentation of the Let\u2019s Export Platform<\/strong> by the Federation of Industries of the State of Par\u00e1 (FIEPA).<\/p>\n

The workshop is organized by the Halal Brazil Project by the ABCC and ApexBrasil, the Brazilian Ministry of Development, Industry, Commerce, and Services, and the Federal Government, in partnership with FIEPA and the Par\u00e1 International Business Center (CIN). The event will occur at the Euvaldo Lodi Institute (IEL), part of the FIEPA System, with a welcome coffee at 8:00 am and an opening scheduled for 9:00 am.<\/p>\n
