Solely in these first five months of the year, Brazil\u2019s egg exports <strong>surpassed last year\u2019s total<\/strong> in revenue and volume.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Japan<\/strong> was the leading destination for sales from January to May, with 4,980 tonnes, 1190% more than in 2022\u2019s same period. Then came <strong>Taiwan<\/strong>, with 3,594 tonnes (in 2022, there were no shipments to the destination). Last year, the <strong>United Arab Emirates<\/strong> was the main destination for the product abroad. <strong>Qatar<\/strong> ranked second in purchases, and Japan third.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThere was a redesign of the international sales of Brazilian eggs. Now, Japan and Taiwan occupy the lead among export destinations, accounting for over 70% of the total shipped by Brazil this year.
