Export revenue last month was USD 887.5 million, 6.7% down from June 2022.<\/p>\n<p>Concerning countries, China remained the leading destination, with 390,700 tonnes imported from January to June 2023 (33% up from the first half of 2022). Next came Japan, with 219,800 tonnes (+8.5%); the United Arab Emirates, 200,100 tonnes (-18.3%); South Africa, 189,700 tonnes (+ 16.5%); and Saudi Arabia, 176,800 tonnes (+8.4%).<\/p>\n<p>Regarding the most prominent exporting states, Paran\u00e1 remained in the lead, with 1.090 million tonnes in the first six months of this year (up 11.1% from the first half of 2022); followed by Santa Catarina, with 545,500 tonnes (+ 7.44%); Rio Grande do Sul, 372,700 tonnes (-1.9%); S\u00e3o Paulo, 151,400 tonnes (+17%); and Goi\u00e1s, 120,400 tonnes\u2019 (30 .8%).<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThroughout this year, we recorded increased purchases from virtually all Brazil\u2019s export destinations, particularly in Asia.
