The numbers were disclosed earlier today (7) by the National Association of Vehicle Manufacturers (Anfavea).<\/p>\n<p> According to the association, production totalled 3.18 million units last year \u2013 against 3.22 million in 2008.<\/p>\n<p> Despite the record volume traded on the domestic market, there has been a 35.3% drop in total vehicle exports. In 2009, according to the Anfavea, exports reached 475,500 units, whereas in 2008 the total was 734,600.<\/p>\n<p> In December 2009, production totalled 251.482 vehicles, 13.6% less than in the previous month. In comparison with the same month in 2008, production grew 159.1%.<\/p>\n<p> According to Anfavea, there was growth of 0.3% in the number of work posts in December when compared to November.
