The meetings are promoted by the Non-Ferrous Metal Artefact Union of the State of S\u00e3o Paulo (Siamfesp) and the Brazilian Export and Investment Promotion Agency (Apex). <\/p>\n<p> The business roundtables are part of a Buyer Project and target manufacturers who are enrolled in the Integrated Sectorial Program (PSI), developed by the Siamfesp and the Apex. <\/p>\n<p> <!--%IMGNOT1%-->\u201cThis year, Brazilian companies will be able to appoint up to five possible buyers. The selected parties will come to the Feicon and attend the business roundtables with fully paid expenses,\u201d explains, in a press release, Daniela Felipe, coordinator of the PSI-Siamfesp. \u201cHowever, the list of appointed buyers should be submitted along with the enrolment form, and the names will then be evaluated by the Apex and organizing committee,\u201d she finishes off.<\/p>\n<p> Arm\u00ednio Calonga Jr., organizer of the Buyer Project at Siamfesp, says that this is the first time that Arab buyers participate in the project at the Feicon-Batimat, and that their attendance is the result of contacts made during missions that took place in 2009. \u201cThe region has a strong demand and they seek several Brazilian products,\u201d he claims. <\/p>\n<p> He also says that negotiations involve not only the meetings at the fair, but also visits of the foreign buyers to the companies and their showrooms.<\/p>\n<p> Buyers from Colombia, Angola, the United States and Peru will also attend the business roundtables.
