Condensed milk, chocolate powder, milk caramel, and other desserts and dairy beverages are part of Mococa\u2019s catalogue at the fair. According to Concei\u00e7\u00e3o, Arab countries are among the markets that the company is working to increase exports to. In February, the manager was at the Gulfood fair, in Dubai.<\/p>\n
The Arab Brazilian Chamber\u2019s stand also features canned fish company Gomes da Costa, which already exports to various Arab countries such as Morocco, Libya, Syria and Lebanon. According to the Chamber\u2019s Marketing assistant, Filipe Ferraz, the two companies made promising contacts. \u201cThey were few, but they were high quality,\u201d he said. The stand was also sought by Algerian importers seeking Brazilian sugar.<\/p>\n
In addition to Ferraz, the Chamber\u2019s Foreign Trade analyst, Frederico Pucci, is also in Algiers to provide support to Brazilian and Arab businessmen interested in doing trade with Brazil.<\/p>\n
The Djazagro fair, which will continue until Thursday (15th), runs the gamut from processed foodstuff and ingredients to their manufacturing and packaging.
