A total of 414,000 60-kilogram bags were shipped, representing a 2% reduction using the same basis of comparison.<\/p>\n<p> According to the director general of the organization, Guilherme Braga, the increased revenues, despite the lower volume shipped, \u201cwas due to the recovery of international prices,\u201d according to a release issued by the Council.<\/p>\n<p> The same happened with regard to the global scenario. Overall, exports from Brazil totalled US$ 354.8 million in April, representing growth of 8.3% over the same month of last year. In all, 2,254,483 bags were shipped, representing a 9.7% decline using the same basis of comparison.
