The matter was among the topics addressed this Thursday (29th) during a meeting between the princess and the president of the <b>Arab Brazilian Chamber of Commerce <\/b>, Salim Taufic Schahin, in S\u00e3o Paulo.<\/p>\n<p> \u201cShe also showed interest in visiting, in the future, elderly support centres maintained by our community,\u201d said Schahin. \u201cRelations between Brazil and Jordan are important,\u201d added the president of the organization, underscoring the importance of the princess\u2019 visit.<\/p>\n<p> <!--%IMGNOT1%-->To Ramez Goussous, the Jordanian ambassador to Bras\u00edlia, the princess\u2019 visit strengthens the existing good relations between the two countries. He also talked about the visit that Muna paid to the Syrian-Lebanese Hospital, last Tuesday, as disclosed by ANBA. \u201cit was a very successful visit, because as a result we are going to exchange information and technology. Perhaps we will receive students, provide them with training, and vice versa. There are definitely many things that we can do,\u201d he claimed.<\/p>\n<p> On Wednesday, Muna attended the opening of the 8th Meeting of the Global Network of Collaborating Centres for Nursing and Midwifery of the World Health Organization (WHO). During her talk with Schahin, she told him about her activities geared towards recognition of nursing professionals. \u201cMy task is to strengthen (the nursing profession) and encourage it,\u201d said the princess.<\/p>\n<p> She also mentioned a desire of getting to know the country better. \u201cI would like to return to Brazil and explore it a little further.\u201d Regarding tourism, the possibility of a direct flight between Jordan and Brazil was discussed, and the visibility that Brazilian soap opera <i>Viver a Vida <\/i>(Living Life), made by the Globo TV network, granted the Arab country. \u201cThey have given us free advertising in Brazil,\u201d said Muna.<\/p>\n<p> At the end of the meeting, Schahin gave the princess a basket made from &quot;capim dourado&quot; (a typical Brazilian material) with chocolates filled with cupuassu. Muna also gave him a present.
