A total of 2.44 million 60-kilogram bags were shipped, representing an increase of 7.8% using the same basis of comparison.<\/p>\n<p> According to the organization, coffee of the Arabica variety accounted for 83% of exports, soluble coffee accounted for 11%, and the Robusta variety, for 6%.<\/p>\n<p> In the first seven months of 2010, exports totalled US$ 2.65 billion, representing growth of 14% over the same period of 2009. In all, 16.8 million bags were shipped, a 2% decline using the same basis of comparison.<\/p>\n<p> In the first seven months of 2010, the leading target regions for Brazilian coffee, were Europe (54%), North America (21%), Asia (17%) and South America (6%).
