S\u00e3o Paulo \u2013 Executives of Sudanese company Bawadi Al Dain seek partnerships with Brazilian agribusiness companies. Bawadi Al Dain also aims to import Brazilian products and sell gum arabic. \u201cWe have a great deal of arable land, and we want Brazilian partners,\u201d Bawadi Al Dain CEO Mohamed Hamid Abbaker told ANBA.<\/p>\n
Abbaker, director-general Kamal Hassan Ali and business development consultant Omar Babiker (pictured) <\/em>visited the headquarters of the Arab-Brazilian Chamber of Commerce<\/strong> (ABCC) on Monday (6). On the occasion, they met with ABCC CEO & secretary-general Tamer Mansour and Institutional Relations advisor Bassel Latif.<\/p>\n \u201cBrazil has a rich expertise in agriculture and livestock. We have many arable lands, workforce, machinery. We need to further develop our agriculture and boost the output, so we seek partnerships with companies that could produce and market with us,\u201d said Abbaker. The executives are in Brazil this week for business appointments including meetings with companies and beef and poultry industry associations.<\/p>\n In addition to partnerships, the company is interested in selling and buying goods. Badawi wants to import sugar, frozen beef, and live cattle. In the latter case, the product would be reexported to Egypt and elsewhere. In the other way around, the company could export gum arabic, herbs, and seeds such as hibiscus\u2019. \u201cIf negotiations are successful, we can do business,\u201d said Abbaker.<\/p>\n Abbbaker was in Brazil in 2014, when he imported veterinarian equipment and products. In turn, Ali is diplomat, was assistant secretary-general of the Arab League, and minister of International Cooperation of Sudan.
