Passing through S\u00e3o Paulo on his way to Bras\u00edlia and accompanied by his wife Noura Korrab, he was welcomed at the S\u00e3o Paulo International Airport, in the city of Guarulhos, by the honorary consul of Tunisia to S\u00e3o Paulo, Rubens Hannun, who is also a former president of the Arab-Brazilian Chamber of Commerce (ABCC) and the Institutional Relations advisor of the ABCC, Bassel Abou Latif <em>(pictured above, left to right, Latif, Korrab, Lakhal, and Hannun)<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cHe is very welcome to Brazil,\u201d said Hannun to ANBA. With this spirit of welcoming and making himself available for initiatives aimed at the state of S\u00e3o Paulo, Hannun received the new ambassador. The consul intends to visit the diplomat in Bras\u00edlia in the coming days to discuss Tunisia\u2019s relations with S\u00e3o Paulo. The ABCC also made itself available to the new ambassador.<\/p>\n<p>Hannun said the embassy plays a fundamental role in the countries\u2019 bilateral relations and highlighted the work between Brazil and Tunisia. \u201cTunisia is a very active country in trade relations.
