From January to September, Brazilians spent US$ 11.468 billion abroad, against US$ 7.467 billion in the first nine months of 2009.<\/p>\n<p> Foreigners spent US$ 4.322 billion in Brazil from January to September this year, against US$ 3.868 billion in the same period in 2009.<\/p>\n<p> In September alone, Brazilians spent US$ 1.580 billion abroad, against US$ 1.053 billion in the same month in 2009.
