The National Treasury contributed with 35.2 billion reals (US$ 20.6 billion) to the result, and the Central Bank, 13.6 million (US$ 8 million). The Social Service presented a negative result of 9.2 billion reals (US$ 5.4 billion).<\/p>\n<p> In the accumulated result for the year, the Central Government surplus has reached 55.706 billion reals (US$ 32.6 billion), equivalent to 2.14% of Gross Domestic Product (GDP).
