A group of companies from the Arab country exhibited at <strong>Fruit Attraction<\/strong>, one of the world\u2019s leading fruit and vegetable trade shows that had its first edition in S\u00e3o Paulo earlier this week, from April 16 to 18.<\/p>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"alignright size-large is-resized\"><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"899\" height=\"1024\" src=\"https:\/\/anba.com.br\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/04\/agreen--899x1024.jpeg\" alt=\"Stand of citrus company at Fruit Attraction\" class=\"wp-image-364247\" style=\"width:293px;height:auto\" srcset=\"https:\/\/anba.com.br\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/04\/agreen--899x1024.jpeg 899w, https:\/\/anba.com.br\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/04\/agreen--527x600.jpeg 527w, https:\/\/anba.com.br\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/04\/agreen--132x150.jpeg 132w, https:\/\/anba.com.br\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/04\/agreen--768x875.jpeg 768w, https:\/\/anba.com.br\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/04\/agreen--150x171.jpeg 150w, https:\/\/anba.com.br\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/04\/agreen--450x512.jpeg 450w, https:\/\/anba.com.br\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/04\/agreen-.jpeg 1124w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 899px) 100vw, 899px\" \/><figcaption class=\"wp-element-caption\">Stand of Agreen at Fruit Attraction<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n\n\n<p>Two of the Egyptian companies participating was <strong>Agreen<\/strong> \u2013 Green Egypt Co. for Agricultural Investment, which already caters to the Brazilian market, and <strong>Orange<\/strong> Co. for Agricultural Crops, which exhibited with an eye on starting selling to the Latin American country.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/agreen-co.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Agreen<\/a> Export Manager Mohamed Tahon said the company is the biggest grower and exporter of citrus in Egypt and the Middle East. \u201cWe export to more than 55 countries,\u201d he told ANBA. Brazil is one the buyers. \u201cLast year we exported 100 containers to Brazil\u2019s market,\u201d said Tahon.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Agreen participated in Fruit Attraction to meet its Brazilian clients and strengthen its relationship with them. \u201cAnd to meet new clients, too,\u201d said Tahon. The company sells fruits like grapes, pomegranates, oranges, mandarins and lemons, and vegetables like onions to various markets across the world. \u201cWe want to sale mandarins and oranges to Brazil, particularly S\u00e3o Paulo,\u201d managing director Ammar Salam told ANBA.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The participation in Fruit Attraction was the kickoff of the company\u2019s relationship with Brazil. Salam says that the company chose the show as it had previously participated in its installment in Madri, Spain, and it already knew how the Brazilian market worked. \u201cWe want to penetrate the Brazilian market, and this was an opportunity to explore it,\u201d said Salam.
