German\u2019s prime minister Olaf Scholz attended the event alongside the \u201cCOP Presidencies Troika\u201d consisting of Al Jaber, who presided the last COP edition in Dubai, Babayev, president of this year\u2019s COP in Baku, and Marina Silva representing Brazil, which will host the COP30 next year in Bel\u00e9m, Par\u00e1 state.<\/p>\n\n\n\n On her Instagram page, Silva said: \u201cIt\u2019s crucial that high and upper-middle income countries comply with the agreements so that financial and technological resources and training are made available to enable develop countries to transition of developing countries.\u201d According to the UAE state news agency WAM, Al Jaber urged in Berlin that governments \u201cthink bigger, act bolder.\u201d The troika participated in a debate on energy transition.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Silva also met with Andr\u00e9 Corr\u00eaa do Lago, Brazil\u2019s chief negotiator for climate change and sustainable development.
