The jet was purchased by lessor <strong>Azorra<\/strong>, which is headquartered in Florida, United States, but it will be operated by a Jordanian client.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>According to <a href=\"https:\/\/embraer.com\/br\/pt\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Embraer<\/a>, the E190-E2 aircraft was delivered at Embraer\u2019s facility in S\u00e3o Jos\u00e9 dos Campos, Brazil. This delivery is the third E2 for the Jordanian airline. Royal Jordanian will receive a total of eight E2s under the existing deal.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The E190-E2 is part of a family of advanced-generation E-Jets that offer the quietest, lowest polluting, and most fuel-efficient aircraft in the under 150 seat market. In 20 years of service, the E-Jets have carried two billion passengers on 26 million flights.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Embraer: New technologies<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cIt\u2019s great to mark this milestone along with two key partners, Royal Jordanian and Azorra,\u201d Arjan Meijer, president and CEO of Embraer Commercial Aviation, said. \u201cWe\u2019re always looking for ways to make our aircraft better \u2013 reducing operating costs, extending maintenance intervals, and adding new technology.
