LI is a Portuguese acronym for import license, and DI for import declaration.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h5 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Brazil&#8217;s Single Window<\/h5>\n\n\n\n<p>The <a href=\"https:\/\/portalunico.siscomex.gov.br\/portal\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Single Window<\/a> is an electronic portal established by the national government to centralize foreign trade procedures involving both the government and the private sector, thus reducing bureaucracy, time and costs of these operations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The first stage will see the migration to the new system of operations related to seaborn consumer goods imports and those under special customs procedures that are not subject to licensing. The first stage will include the customs transit for clearing goods in secondary zones.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In the first half of 2025, the migration will move on to include airborne imports and operations subject to administrative checks, that is, imports that require import licensing, as well as imports supported by the exemption and suspension drawbacks.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The third and final stage, which is slanted for the second half of 2025, will expand the migration to include land imports and those held under the Manaus Free Zone procedure.
