In the period, Brazilian sales abroad totalled US$ 3.268 billion, while imports were US$ 3.931 billion.<\/p>\n<p> In the first three weeks of this month, the trade balance had a surplus of US$ 662 million, with exports of US$ 12.108 billion and imports of US$ 11.446 billion.<\/p>\n<p> From January to the third week of November, the trade surplus is US$ 15.283 billion, 33.1% lower than the result for the same period in 2009 (US$ 22.858 billion).
