S\u00e3o Paulo \u2013 The next 26th will mark 50 years since Brazil and Bahrein<\/a> first established diplomatic ties. A special program will celebrate the date this year. According to Bahrain\u2019s ambassador to Brazil, Bader Abbas Alhelaibi, the speaker of the Bahraini Council of Representatives, Ahmed bin Salman Al-Musallam, is expected to visit Brazil. Furthermore, in a lunch held on Friday (7) in Bras\u00edlia, a logo was launched to celebrate the date.<\/p>\n\n\n

Brazil-Bahrain relations<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Alhelaibi highlighted on the occasion the 50-year celebration coincides with the Silver Jubilee celebrations of King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa\u2019s accession to the throne. \u201cNow, fifty years after the establishment of relations between our countries, we are faced with many achievements in all political, economic, defense, cultural, sports and other vital fields of common interest,\u201d he said, according to Diplomacia Business.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The ambassador added the inauguration of the Golden Jubilee logo for diplomatic relations will be followed by many visits and events. In addition to the congressman’s visit, there are \u201cmany other cultural events to come\u201d, he said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
